>>10632060The TF scene in Japan has always been pretty obscure from what I've seen. Mostly male anime otaku would be the ones watching them at the time if they were adult fans, and those were usually drawn to doing more cool robots and doujin art of the girls. Though some kids robot anime did attract some fujos if it had shota protags, it was like this for a lot of the scene. Sadly, most fanart from the time that wasn't archived were on individual artist and doujin group sites, and a lot of those are lost to time. Though some guest art were featured in figure magazines and DVD booklets.
It's a shame what there was is lost, and now they're all pretty overlooked, Micron Trilogy has some real good girls, wish there was more fanart of them.
