>>8973875I love my Unit 01. Id say if youre looking for an action figure of the tv series design, this is a great option. If youre handy with paint youll make em shine but if youre a hamhands like me, some small detailing is enough to make the sculpt shine.
Your other options for the tv evas are the vintage Xebec Kaiyodo figures from the early 2000s, which I personally love, theyre super toyetic but kind of staction-y, the older revoltecs, which are not amazing but look decent, and the soul of chogokins, which look amazing but youll need to take a mortgage out trying to get them.
I really like this kit though. The build was a lot of fun, the head sculpt is genuinely one of the best EVA 01s ive ever seen, it poses pretty decent and doesnt feel flimsy. I didnt use any glue but the build does reccomend glue for a few key parts. The only flaws is its a bit lacking in accessories, you get an unpainted rifle and knife and a bunch of unpainted hands.
Im gonna try and get Unit 00 and 02 at some point. Idk if Unit 2 is still available anywhere, BBTS claims theyll be in stock "may 2021" but who fucking knows if thats accurate
