I might re-mottle with the dark green on the tan and lighter green bits so it won't take quite so much of the final coat to have those somewhat unified with the rest. And Tamiya XF-62 covers really bloody well, even when it's half thinner. For the final coat it'll probably have to be half paint half varnish, and then as much thinner as paint and varnish together.
