Not trying to discourage you, but you seem to be one of those types who think this kind of thing is way easier than it really is. Your posts just read as wishful thinking and don't give me any confidence.

>thinking that a top coat is just a "maybe" when it's going to be the bare minimum if you plan on sanding
>more modding plans that still are up in the air (not a bad thing per se but usually inexperienced people are fast at coming up with projects -that's the easy thing- but few of them come into fruition)
>comparing this kind of customization work to building model kits
>trying to make a deep cut into hard plastic with an x-acto knife

If you really want to do a decent job at this you need to prepare yourself way more than what you have in mind.

Actually, Extra Saber was refered as Aka-Saber (Red Saber in english) back when Extra was released. So they're "Red Saber"/Nero and "Saber of Red"/Mordred.

Owner of all the figma Sabers here. Original Saber, casual Saber, Zero Saber and (if I remember correctly) original Lily are compatible.

2.0 is compaible with dress version, and most probably the two new Lilys and this new Artoria in swimsuit are compatible with them too.

But as usual with figmas and based on my own experience, even if they're intended to be compatible the faceplates don't seem to fit as nicely as the ones included in their own box for some reason. Minimal changes in the mold or something. You can totally use them anyways, though.
