Most of the figures he gets are either tools for commissions, stuff fans and friends gave him, rarely he gets freebies, he either mentions these at the start of videos or during one of his unnecessary unboxing videos.
I appreciate how much he shits on figures that are bad (marvel legends) and even "high end" ones (s h figurarts, pak etc) and even takes time to like a figure "for what it is" (mattel's halo line) especially if its cheap shit intended for kids (mcfarlane was appealing to older collectors).
My honest issue with him is his video's are very same-y because he uploads shit every day, and shit like the marvel legends are just a bunch of retools, he could cut video time in half by skipping articulation checks in retooled figure reviews but of course he wants dat youtube money.
If you don't like his review style move on, for me personally no youtuber gets my support due to ad block, and I only play some of his longer reviews as background noise chuckling away as he shits on something I seen in the video's thumbnail.
One thing I'll give him is he's a better reviewer than pretty much every other transformer collector's videos, no stupid gimmicky mascots or pulling random info that they themselves don't know or understand (anthony least mentions he doesn't know shit), I initially wanted a no frills reviewer and other than his obvious attitude he's just that, a stick in the mud.
Now I just hope he stops giving money to that batman animated line, the second that harley quinn came out I knew it should of been a statue line.
