Revoltech batman just arrived. I only actually got into this hobby (kind of) last month when I finally allowed myself to buy something that I had been looking at for years (aka revoltech batman) but since I was completely unaware of the concept of toy bootlegs and whatever I got a cheap pile of shit from aliexpress, and once I had it it just made me want something actually good instead. While it was falling apart and riddled with issues from the getgo I refunded it and bought the actual revoltech batman from BBTS. The whole process kind of activated something in my brain and ive been buying loads of stuff off of ebay now
Comparing the bootleg and the actual thing up close is pretty interesting. The bootleg is actually smaller, joints are miscolored, the colors are off in the bootleg in general (most noticeable in the grey of the suit), lacks that glossy/shiny finish on the paintjob, the bootleg either had such stiff head articulation that it snapped while trying to turn it, and the cape was completely flimsy and loose from the getgo on the bootleg
oh, and even the stand is actually a bit better on the official kaiyodo product with 9 holes to plug the crane onto rather than just 1 in the middle
