It would be a good way to explain how so many of these wacky vehicles come about anyways. Likewise, I always had this idea that Marlena's arrival on Eternia was responsible for this technological revolution as her ship was really advanced. So maybe it could be implied roboto was a direct result of that, or hell, was even her ship's A.I. given a terrestrial body. Either way it would make great use of Marlena's origins as an astronaut and explain some of the crazy tech on Eternia.
