That said; my profession is literally my hobby
I mentioned myself being a 3D artist, so clearly I won't be profiting from making a toy, and the portfolio for the type of 3D artist position I'm aiming for would only include digital 3D works; not physical toys. Not to mention if I do go through with the project, I'll literally be giving them away
I'll be losing money, not making money
Much like how resume packages in the advertising industry might include wacky things like disco balls or even a whole bed delivered to prospective employers, I intend to do the same, but while also accomplishing a childhood dream of mine with a dash of fun
This project is just a plus, a completely optional and unnecessary extension to my portfolio; but it's 100% personal dream of building a toy of my own from scratch, something which I doubt is an alien feeling from the average /toy/ anon
