Finally got these today. I bought them used, although they apparently had mostly just sat on some display from what the seller told me (and they were practically statues when they arrived which only reinforces that belief). I must say I was mindblown when I finally saw them irl because they look even better than what any picture or video had led me to believe, basically like the actual movie turtles right in front of me
However theyre my first ever neca products and I kinda hate everything about them that isnt the obvious good stuff. Im just terrified of breaking them because of these weird plastic hinges rather than regular ball joints, and some of the shit on them just feels/ seems mega fragile like the weapons and the belts. I already instantly glued the plastic strings on the nunchaku at the bases to secure them 50x harder onto the "wooden" parts, they just looked even more flimsy than they feel, and to me it seems like theres just so many weird and stupid design choices here that makes me appreciate some other brands even more
Even with all that, these just look so good that it might overcome all that for me. If they never break on me then ill probably become confident in calling them the most prized collectors item I own
