>>7919925There isn't a storyline exactly, just some tongue-in-cheek write ups on their little collector cards. You can infer some things though, like that they must be big enough in their own world that they could fulfill the jobs they are painted for. Doesn't make a lot of sense to have an ambulance hippo that can't carry anyone. Each figure has so much personality pouring out of it that I've never really been bothered by the thin worldbuilding.
