The 352nd was one of the highest scoring Fighter Groups of the entire war, with THE highest scoring Mustang Pilot among their number; George C. Preddy with 26.83 kills (Meyers just shy with 24 credits). It also technically still exists as the 113th Operations Group, so its history is not at risk of fading anytime soon.

And then the 192nd went and decided to repaint an F-22 in homage to one of Preddy's planes about a decade ago (pic related, no idea if it still looks like this today)
