>>5747521It's an expectations matter. Anyone who knew bout they neca line knew that it was gonna be just godzilla (because Bandai and toho are notoriously difficult with allowing other companies to do godzilla figures). No one expects a whole lot from them in general.
When shma gets it right,, they nail. Their kiryu is probaby the best representation of the character outside of those rare as hell dx models that came out in 03/04, and the same goes for 80% of the line. The problem is that they are pretty much stuck on not only godzilla, but probaby the most done and redone era (but GMK and 54 Give hope)
Granted, it could just be toho twisting both their arms and telling them what to make
