I'm not a big Castle fan but every time the Blacksmith set comes up the major complaint I see is that it's too big, and that it's out of scale with other Lego castle sets. Even if it has less surface details it's still going to be bigger than Black Falcon's Fortress or whatever classic castle you've got as your main base.
If you're dead set on sticking to the 80s aesthetic you need to commit to both part/color usage and size.
>>9876949 is right that the only proper comparison to the new Blacksmith is the old one (pic related) or other classic castle-era buildings like Guarded Inn. A 2021 set is not going to look good next to sets from the 80s even if you throw a coat of 1985 paint onto it.
tl;dr stop using that MOC as an example of what the Blacksmith shop should be like because neither of those two builds in your image are actual Classic Castle.
