>>9544951Heres a picture of me getting my first train set on christmas. Ive still got it. My grand dad and his brothers were all there. My uncle zeke got me a bunch of extra track and switches and my uncle ed got me a bunch of extra freight cars. They all helped me set it up and were teaching me how to block trains, switch a yard, switch customers, everything. My grand dad had gotten me the ILTT vhs tapes and me and him would watch them for hours. I always wanted to be just like him. I might not work for the western maryland, but i run engines like he did. That man was always taking me to do something related to the railroads. He knew alot of guys that worked at CSX that were around in the WM and Chessie days so hed take me to go watch the yard guys switch, or to go on a train ride with someone he trained to be an engineer, anything. That man was a railroader inside and out. I still have that set. I mainly do O scale stuff, but I have some HO stuff i run at my local club. I wont ever get rid of that set either
