So I got an Elite Forces M1-Abrams on eBay. It was not the one I originally wanted that had fewer missing parts, and unfortunately they did not do a good job packing it because the damn cannon barrel was broken in half when it arrived. hat pissed me off but I can repair it and paint over the seam.
Anyhow though, I am exceedingly pleased with how it scales with the Patriot Grizzly. The two are basically the same size, and they're both fuck huge. I feel like my plan to repaint the Patriot Grizzly to be the Cobra foil for an M1 Abrams has been fully justified now that I see the two together. As soon as I have the barrel on the M1 glued back together I'll post a pic of the two tanks side by side.
I'm also going to have to replace the turret hatches on the M1 which kinda pisses me off, but it's not the end of the world. Since this was fixer upper unit I might even go a step further and add an opening hatch on the body for a driver and tub seat under the parascope. It's really big and it's mostly hollow so I can see some modding potential here.
