He explains that while remodeled into bombs, they remain living beings, so if they die they won't detonate, but Megatron vetoes this suggestion and instead tells Alpha Trion to evacuate the entire population to the G1 World, leaving the Legends World to be destroyed rather than having to sacrifice any lives.
