So you don't even have an anecdotal view. You're just repeating what someone else said 8 years ago, because you don't own any of these figures and have no idea what they're actually like.
Pic of a toy even smaller than 3.75" and has yet even smaller clear joints. Somehow it survived 8 years with only minor scraping of the paint on the clear plastic. Do note, at this size, you can't even notice these details, like the dots on the russian's face, until it's blown up by the camera (you can't miss the eyes through).
