Before tackling a nicer model I decided to build a shitbox T-34.
This is the WORLD OF TANKS Trumpeter kit.
Compared to the last kit by ACE this was a joy to build, so I actually took the time to replace the plastic handlebars (or, in the case of the top of the hull and turret just simple ridges) with pieces of wire (in part as practice for the nicer kit) and it was still only two evenings at a very slow pace.
Sometimes the fit was a bit ehhh, especially the lower and upper hull (note that the current state is just for presentation and not glued; I will paint turret, upper hull, lower hull and wheels separately), but oh well, that's what the tank factory made)))))))) - though I think I nicely got the seams on the turret down.
Now I'm just wondering if I should paint the rubber tracks, I have yet to hear anything good about rubber tracks.
