They angled the waist joints upwards to let the legs have a better spread pose, the shoulder armour to shoulder joint now has a much more secure connection to handle the weight, the bit on the main body where the shoulder joint connects is now a solid piece instead of having a rotating female connector that plugs into the frame, and the elbows have a sandwiched construction instead of the weaker c-clip. Here are some pictures of the instructions showing htis off, I'll take more pictures later while I'm building the kit but don't know when I'll get to it.
This shows the shoulder armour to shoulder joint connector - definitely seems like a much more stable design. It's interesting how small and easy all the changes they made are, honestly.
