The 30th anniversary for Zelda NES is next year, so it seems like something they might do.
Reason I ask is because I make custom figures, and Zelda 1 Link w/ all the items is my next project. I've bought most of the supplies needed and I was planning on starting by the end of the month.
However, I feel like if a professional company does it anyway, I'd be wasting my time and resources. And they have 15 new sculpts for next year? Damn, a few of them are probably Zelda 30th anniversary related.
Not sure if I should start on it or what.
