I've been meaning to make a thread discussing this very thing (I just don't know which board would be best for it) but if you look at the creatives of the generation eg the red letter media crew, Ben Yahtzee crowshaw, AVGN, Doug Walker, TGWGs crew, what do they all have in common?
they are known for critique of others work, but there own creations are subpar
And this is extremely depressing given the fact they grew up with some of the most creative works in culture, and they now have easier access to the tools that are needed for creating something
now as for the zoomers they still have a chance but unfortunately with how social media favours quantity over quality, they'll most likely suffer the same fate
Bionicle can still be saved, not with Lego as much as some think, but with the folks whom grew up with it, people just need to realize that they can be creative, you just need to do the work, and not just sit on social media saying they can't do anything blame the boomers and beg for upcummies, Millennials can have a redemption arc they just have to try
