I know how stupid it feels to put half or more of your stuff away when you paid so much for it, but it really makes everything better when you have more space. Figure out how you want to store your stuff and put away at least half.
Another thing I'm seeing lots of is similar sized figures standing close together without any variance in elevation. If they're not posed interacting, either space them out or get some elevation for some variety. You can buy specialized stands, build ones out of lego, or repurpose stuff from around the house. If it looks good, go with it. Just 3/4" can make a huge difference.
Try to adhere to a single theme per cluster of figures. Color, style, source; anything but random.
