The leg length and hand issue were easily fixed by popping his boots off and boiling all of the items. The boots went back on and his legs are the correct length now, and after cooling, his hands stay on pretty well. However, this did leech some color from the boots somehow. They're now a very faded light--almost like acid wash jeans, but red and brown.
The boot's sheath was actually there, too, just hiding behind some flash that gave way instantly when I poked a drill bit through. The Capwolf head also looks pretty OK on this body, too.
