Nah this shit has been going on for a long ass time, especially with firefighter and police sets. I feel like the problem today is that Lego does have specific female figures and prints. Back in the day you just took a regular classic smiley face and put some long hair on them and it was a girl figure and you could always swap the clothes however you wanted. Modern Lego with the hourglass shape figures is kinda weird to me. It's part of the terrible decisions Lego has made like making Lando brown instead of yellow, fleshies figs, non classic faces, female bodies that can't be used on other figures, stud shooters, etc...
