>>11094783The Megatron from that set is hands down my current favorite version of Megatron in toy form. I just dumped his awful cannonswordbuttplate junk in the accessory bin and transform his turret like the old Siege version and he makes for a damn near perfect tank.
I honestly don't care about the other two. Shockwave is impressively lame, it's my first time handling that figure and it feels like a boring deluxe. Soundwave is just a slightly altered Siege version which I already have, but I prefer vehicle alt modes over "real life" items.
>>11094706>COVID taught them they can force more responsibilities onto fewer people and get away with paying them lessOh no, Corpos knew that LONG before the coof, it's just more people are realizing they knew that nowadays. I worked in a corpo setting twenty years ago and even back then it was always asking for more work with the same pay. Then I got let go cause I been there too long and they hired someone new for cheaper to do even more work.
Got a union job after that and haven't had that problem since.
>>11095093These problems ain't new, it's the same shit that happened at the turn of the last century. Companies coalesced into fewer and fewer options and monopolies rose to choke the life out of the market. It's exactly the same as what's happening now, less companies control more and without competition they dictate the prices of things.
>>11095150Siege Prime is still my favorite G1 Prime to this day and it kills me that he *still* hasn't gotten a simple, clean paint release. I know a lot of people feel the Earthrise one is better, but the protruding boobshelf and lanky looking legs have always been a huge turn off for me.
In other news, finally caught up on my backlog of TFs, finishing off the pile with the big Kaiju bird himself. Quick crappy pic, but I'm glad I backed this magnificent bastard.
