All those E.T. cartridges that are buried out in the desert are getting lonely, and that's where Rose is headed, figuratively speaking. Nobody asked for her, nobody wanted her, nobody cares. Maybe in a decade or so people can start calling comic shops(if they still exist) looking for a nice set of Rose slippers. It might even artificially inflate the prices of any surviving merch, and we know there will always be someone that would rather have ugly aged plastic than money.
