>>9006362It's nothing complicated, I just stuck some tape all around the areas that look like the rubber/soft plastic half will rest against the painted surface of his chest. Only the top half of the ball is soft plastic but I put some around the holes for his legs too since it's a little tight to slip his legs through and I don't really want to risk chipping the paint on his knees or anything.
I don't know why contact with rubber tends to dissolve paint, it's weird. Don't really want to take chances though. I've left galvatron in the ball for a day or two after doing this and the paint on his chest seems perfectly fine.
