>>7109086I used the supplied copper wire from the kit. It wanted to keep its shape so badly that I had to superglue it to the fenders. Also was tempted to decal up the sides (still have those slogan details from a KV-2) but I really built this kit as a practice for pre-shading and weathering techniques, seeing how well I can work with a 'plain' model.
In a fit of madness I started Riich's Universal Carrier Mk.I today. Over 600 parts, 130 of which are photo-etch, there's a reason it sat on the shelf for a while. Despite some fiddly parts, the fit is great and the level of detail is amazing. Nice change of pace from the clunky trumpy kit. I'll have some fun with this one, gonna do a camo scheme, plus all the little decals that go with it
