>>9691628By the way, styrofoam CAN work and plenty of people use it, but I don't prefer it because it just doesn't shape or form as easily as pink insulation foam does, since insulation foam is a solid piece of material, while styrofoam is a bunch of smaller pieces molded together.
you can even get smaller "project boards" that are 1" thick for cheaper than buying a huge 4x8.
On a side note, these are very useful for woodworking too. I use a 1" pink board for cutting up 4x8 plywood panels with a circular saw or my track saw.
