The first thing I did while building the thing was snap the nub that holds the dobergun to the shoulder, because fuck being able to actually point that thing in any actual direction while still holding it in its hand. I also used a shitload of black watercolors to try to fix the coloring of the back thrusters (it's been so many years but I think they were entirely white), which again flaked off almost immediately because I had no concept of what different types of paint were and just grabbed what I had in the house at the time.
Kind of wild to think that the RG Tallgeese I ordered a few weeks ago is going to look orders of magnitude better with no actual paint work.
