I've had valuable funkos (rare SDCC exclusives) stolen this way when I've hooked up with guys online, they knew exactly what they were looking for and threatened me with violence on more than one occasion.
It makes me feel sad that I can't openly display my collection in the current climate, but I'm not putting me or my families life on the line for my hobby.
I guess this the price you pay for collecting rare pops.
