Regular orange is super thick, good for gluing big pieces together, slow drying so you can re-position things as many times as you want.
Extra thin is good for pouring into seams. It starts dissolving plastic right away and can do some damage if you are not careful. If you think you know how much you need, use 1/3 of that and it will be the right amount.
Extra thin quick drying is my favorite at the moment, dries clean (no residue) and if you use very little of it you can glue together painted parts without damaging the paint job. It bonds styrene quicker than superglue so you need to be careful about positioning. Quick drying cement is the best for gluing tiny parts imo.
