>>10013738>Are Patlabor Moderoids goodShort answer: yes. Very.
Long Answer: My observations from the Moderoids I have built (Alseides, Scherezade, Ingram, Helldiver, Escaflowne, Super Pipimi, & 2 Molcars)
>Plastic is comparable to Koto, maybe even a bit better.>no polycaps>some joints can be tight & may need sanding>clear plastic is a bit more brittle>occasionally the instructions will call for glue/cement. Often times it's not required but does help hold small parts in place>instruction booklets are thicker than Bandai & more detailed. Sometimes in full color.>If there are variants most will include parts for that (Ingram had 2 sets of heads & shoulders for example). Also lots of hands.>some parts come pre-painted (mainly metallic like weapons and emblems) rather than injection gold/silver trash>if it has a cape it comes with both plastic and cloth versions (ex Escaflowne)>lot of attention to in-show gimmicks (Ingram leg holster/Alseides fold out claws/Peacemaker chest holster)>Most have Decals. Only Molcars had stickers.>Seam lines are sub-modern Bandai standards>Articulation can be poor on weirder designs but more traditional humanoid mechs are good.
