While some of the older figures were priced at $40, most everything else was base cost, including the trolls, and deluxe Barbarian and Knight builders. Some people could only see the Advent of Decay items for some reason.
I was fortunate enough to only want newer stuff, so it wasn't heartbreaking for me as it was for others.
Anyway, how this line works is first they do preorders, then they make enough to fulfill them plus a bunch extra for quality control and stock sales. Once made in the factory, they're shipped state side, then they fulfill all preorders. Months after all the preorders are finished then they'll have a stock sale of what's left.
We should be getting AS4 quicker than AS3 both because Covid isn't as big of an issue as it was last year, and because there's a definitive cut off for the preorder, so the factories can start producing sooner.
