Shortstack-anon again. Been doing some thinking re: achieving my goal of 99% printable figures and I realize it IS achievable, but I'm gonna have to approach articulation differently. My research/conversations with friends has lead me to understand that straight "clones" of Hobby Base/Figma style joints, even with FDM, simply won't work. However, between the fact FDM has come on leaps and bounds recently (need one of those fancy Bambu machines) and also how good some of Resione's newer engineering resins are, I am confident I can make it work if I'm clever. I need to get some of Resione's Tough 74; it's currently not available in white, which is annoying, but I think it's worth getting the grey to experiment with. I can at least paint figures if necessary, as annoying as it is, and everything I've seen suggests it's perfect for my needs.
In other news, I had an idea for a custom I wanna do, which if I can make it work as a fully printable figure I'll make available- Fatsune Miku. As an unrepentant fan of plump women, I think a meaty muffin-top Miku would be cute/hot.
