>>10789285I'll be real with you dog, I don't even mind the idea of a "strong" female co-lead(though not if she gets precedence over Cavil), because canonically there ARE well-written female characters like that in the 40k universe. Inquisitors have pretty much unlimited authority in the Imperium and only space marines and high-lords can tell them to fuck-off(even then, that can lead to bad things for them). There's also sisters of battle(though I'd wager they are too christian-zealot adjacent for Hollyweird writers).
The problem is after how Rangz of Power wrote Galadriel, it's 100% clear that they don't know how to write good characters. Hollywood in general doesn't know how to write "strong" females without just making them into manly mary-sues.
