>>7245551I think that the saw is orange due to heat being applied to the blade, but it could be a hologram too. The beauty of Lego is that the vagueness and ambiguity of the pieces allows for multiple interpretations and usages in constructions and varying contexts.
One of my favourite examples of this is the use of the hot dog piece as a lamp spine in the Simpson's House Lego set. Unfortunately I didn't buy it at the time and the second-hand market is awfully extortionate when it comes to re-selling.
