While that does seem like it may be the case, i'm gonna say it probably isnt because the length of the tail matches up with the official design and other toys.
I think at the end of the day it's just a very stupid failed attempt at replicating the unique tail curve. Another issue is the tail weighs so much that they were probably limited in what they could do. Whatever the case is, its retarded.
