1. I buy toys so you're wrong
2. You're on a toy collecting forum. You have no room to criticize the hobbies of others.
plastic toys, videotoys. Same difference. Both fun and worth spending money on imo but both can be considered manchildren activities
anyway, I've been on a fallout kick recently but I have given up on getting a decent toyline of the series. Bethesda sucks major balls at making figures for their IPs. The show is almost certainly going to be mega cringe and I can't imagine anybody wanting merch from it.
Fallout is in a weird spot where it has a dedicated fanbase of "gamers" but Bethesda almost resents them and targets the ever-fickle TV and casual market and fails to appeal to anyone. Time and time again.
In a cool timeline we'd get 1:18 figures for skyrim and fallout. Theyd probably come as sets, with say, 6 characters a box. if the line was successful we'd get more waves. with maybe only the boxart dragonborn and a t45d power armor soldier being sold stand alone because theyre guaranteed hits. (I say theyd come as sets because I know molds are expensive and they wouldnt want to risk shelf-warmers. but 1:18 lends itself to collecting and army building and since its what I would've wanted I believe other dreadful gamers wouldve dropped money on something like this too)
they could do recolors out the ass of certain molds. skyrim bandit in every race, power armor soldier in 4 different colors. convention exclusives etc.
but no. We live in the timeline where instead of striking when the iron was hot 10 years ago, they gave us funkos. and now theyre trying and failing to sell statues to normies.
