The Spartan is...alright. Sculpt is quite nice, paint is impressive in scope if not in execution (the finish is kinda rough due to how much they put on him), but he doesn't like to hold his shotgun (which is kinda warped) and the articulation is kinda crap, especially the knees and elbows. Can barely bend either 90 degrees. Which to be fair is better than the Master Chief I got for £4 on clearance from a toy store years ago, who has literally 45 degree joints.
I do rather like the grunt though, even without his mask or weapon. He's surprisingly poseable and the paint works a bit better, perhaps due to all the skin texture. Still not an amazing figure but a fun desk pal.
