The plane belongs to a government, and depicting specific aircraft in scale models have been treated in a very lax way by countries, whether they're democratic or not. I don't think the commies ever protested against western companies releasing models of their super sekrit hardware, and even today I doubt anybody asks North Korea, Iran or Cuba for permission to put their plane on a decal sheet.
