>>10700212Seethe isn't the word, I'm lethargic of it for a variety of reasons
>Marvel LegendsI don't follow the comics, rather the cartoons, games, movies or any form advertising from covers to brand tie-ins so my tastes are just different. Characters are constantly revealed and redesigned so much that I'd eventually decide I want something. But in the end, I ultimately can't settle on a toy. The face sculpts tend to have that middle-aged look with their unneeded details of cheekbones and wrinkles. It is for the sake of accuracy, sure, but I've learned that accuracy isn't necessarily a good thing. Also mentioning when characters are given facesculpts that are just unappealing or are missing an expression, like Wolverine but no grit teeth.
Then we get to the build of the toys. Toys these days can do so much more these past 20 years, but the same mistakes are repeated every time. Some characters have butterfly joints, a good ab crunch and 90* neck joints, but some dont and they often need it. Then there are the "flying characters with long hair", but you can't make their heads face up because (let alone) Hasbro hasn't found a way to make hair less obstructive.
Further flaws include the BAF concept, where I have to either get a lone piece I don't need or buy 8 figures I don't need just for that 1. Also finally, I'm
>movie toys-anon. and I hate those, because colors are muted and designs are downgraded for the sake of cinematic convenience and comfort
