>>10160369Maybe you're right, but man kids are fucking easily fleeced (myself included). I owned a lot of those franchised microplaysets, and in retrospect, they really sucked. Most of them failed to understand what made Mighty Max great, there was no thought to play patterns or an interesting micro-sculpt with lots of little details to discover. It was just "hey, let's slap some minifigures into a bland diorama, call it a day." Like look at this X-Men one, it sucks. What the hell are you supposed to do with this, there's barely any adventure to be had here, nothing to work with.
Even the best ones, like some of the Star Wars and TMNT ones, never really hit the highs that MM did. Sorry Max, I shoulda known better and just bought more of your sets.
