IDK really. I used to ride my bike to stay /fit/ and stopped at the Target on my way. I found all of wave 2 at a Wal-Mart on a whim and the rest have trickled in over the months at Target. I even saw the Mer-Friend wave at that same Wal-Mart a couple weeks back. The only thing I ordered online was the Landshark because i got impatient and had a case of FOMO (which fuels my autistic crusade desu). I'm in Melbourne, FL btw.
Castle Greyskull was harder because i found it while cyling and rode home as fast as i could to get in my car and snag it.
Honestly, my best advice is to be persistent. Ive never asked any employees about it (socially awkward) either. Try and do what i do and work a Target Run into your schedule. Most days you will leave empty handed, but hoo boy when you find it!
Also, leave some for the kids. Their is always one of us in training.
