>>8664774ah, that happened to me too! i wasn't into dolls whatsoever as a tomboyish girl but when i started getting into girly stuff due to friends a friends mom took us to target and bought my first doll, a sun kissed summer jade. then i became really obsessed with them, would spend all of my bday + xmas money on bratz on ebay. once got a sweet dreamz party pajama siernna for $135 and a bitch REALLY tried to steal that doll from me, same girl made fun of me for still playing with dolls at one point but bitch got her karma kek.
anyway the bratz series' started dwindling around 2008 i'd say when i got into it too and was disappointed the dolls i came across online were always so much cooler than the ones at my local target. thrifted some cool ones too. was always pissed at the new dolls in 2010, i bought many and ended up giving them away when i got older and was like "man these new bratz aint shit compared to the old designs" even the packaging and clothes are of lower quality. in general just lower quality and got super boring. the fashion is sometimes ok but for the most part it became tedious to look at and clearly more prudish due to pressure
