But oyu're ignoring the point, which is the fact that $4 Microman figures were highly poseable because they had little detail or sculpt to get in the way of teh joints.
It ilterally costs nothing to have toys have high mobiilty, which you're pretending is some magical thing that somehow costs money.
In fact, it actually costs more to have more sculpt, because talented artists are sought after by toy companies (they used to be given no credit back in the day (80s and before), to ensure other toy companies wouldn't headhunt them) and will command better contracts than those of lesser status. They even become full time employees or get exclusivity contracts, as most sculptors today are freelancers.
