I find it really strange when people say they have an issue with the ball shaped joints of McFarlane figures. Sometimes it's well integrated and others it isn't great, but these kinda of joints have always been garish. Look at classic Revoltech with their revolver joints (which often didn't color match), or something like the recent Mafex Carnage, which has really shiny joints in the wrists and ankles (and knees and elbows). I know the knees in particular are points of contention on this Carnage, but it isn't like anyone is talking about how big and ugly those joints are, perhaps because it's normal? Is it just people who are used to Marvel Legends and the like who think these joints are ugly?
