It looks like his arm is just a rubber tube that bends and probably has some kind of skeleton in it, which would suck dick in my opinion. I hope it's just my eyes playing tricks on me, but 3A doesn't have the best track record for toy designs for green space marines from what I've seen.
If I'm right you can kind of see what I'm talking about if you look at the elbows in the two pictures I put together here. Looks like a hose bent at two different angles.
