>>9753061This is something that interests me quite a bit as I am in the process of acquiring all the classic Pirates sets. How long did you leave the sails in your 50/50 bleach/water solution? Did you agitate them? I washed a bunch of sails last week with info found on eurobricks forums and those guy just said use a small amount of color safe detergent in cold water, let them soak for 2 mins. Then swish them around for two mins, then soak again for another two mins. Then rinse thoroughly with cold water and iron. I did this and while they look a little better, the whites don't really pop out at you and still look rather dull. Pic related.
