Because moot sold the website to hiroshi and the dude is a native Japanese living in Japan so he could not care less at all about US politics or culture war or whatever, iirc he doesn't even speak English. He's just here to rake in some ad revenue. His hands off approach has resulted in a massive decline in quality. When moot was still here he took a personal interest in maintaining the website and would often go on mass banning sprees as well as creating quarantine boards if needed. If he was still here you bet your ass he would nuke /pol/ and go on a mass ban wave (he has literally deleted /pol/ before), but he is long gone so as a result the schizos are left to run wild and rampant all over the website. It's only gonna get worse as more and more oldfags age out of here so enjoy it while you can lmao.
